Preschool

The teachers at A Step Above blend together Biblical teaching, academic learning, and play to create a well-rounded child who is excited about learning and growing!
At ASA, we use Mother Goose Time Curriculum to teach our academic and Bible lessons in all classrooms. MGT is an activity-based curriculum that allows children to learn social and emotional skills, language and literacy skills, math and reasoning skills, social studies and science through a variety of age-appropriate, fun activities.
Students are involved in teacher-directed and self-selected activities throughout the day, most incorporating what kids like to do best, play!
We offer four preschool classes, Little 2's (22 months - 2 years old), K2 (2 - 3 years old), K3 (3-4 years old) and Pre-K (4-5 years old).
Preschool Tuition is $145 per week.
Before and After School Care
Kindergarten-5th Grade Students at LES
Morning
Students eat breakfast brought from home, then engage in self-selected activities, such as reading, drawing, playing games, puzzles, socializing, and more. Students are transported to LES by school bus. The bus picks up students at our front door.
Afternoon
Students are met at the bus by a teacher and attendance is taken. Once in the center, students complete homework, engage in self-selected activities, such as reading, drawing, playing games, puzzles, socializing, and group activities or crafts, and play outside. Students are grouped based on grade, Kindergarten-1st or 2nd-5th.
BASC Tuition is $75 per week.
Summer Program
Kindergarten-5th Grade Students
Our Summer Program is designed to keep kids engaged in learning all summer long! Our summer curriculum is Science based and includes many experiments, art projects, outdoor explorations, plays created by the kids and more. In addition to the Science fun, Monday-Thursday, each child will work on a weekly review packet for Reading and Math. These packets are targeted to the grade level your child just completed, and are a wonderful way to keep last year’s learning fresh for the new school year.
Summer Program tuition is $125 per week.
Our Security
Security is a top priority at A Step Above. We have constant video surveillance in every classroom, as well as an electronic entry system with video surveillance. Only staff and parents have access to our building. Parents can leave with comfort knowing that their child is safe in our care.
